Sorry, for getting so domestic and less geeky, but I just have this sudden urge to let the world know, that I've just cooked a killer hungarian style Gulash ;-)
I swear, it's my best one, so far. It's perfect! Finally, after all these years... The tears in my eyes are testimony only to this fact and have nothing to do with the amount of Paprika or Tabasco in it!
I can't wait till tomorrow and must be very brave now - Gulash always tastes even better when it is warmed up. To eat fresh Gulash is considered a sacrilege...
Unfortunately, I'm the only person in the (immediate) family able to enjoy it, as its hotness makes it unsuitable for (just as an example) breastfeeding mothers or two year old children (not to mention eight week old babies...)
Sorry, Mascha... but you liked the salad, right?
