Sticking it out
Sometimes, Vapourware is enough
I have now used Shrook for well over a week on both of my machines. (Thanks, Nate for the suggestion)
I must say, the ability to sync the two instances is really, really great. Featurewise, I'd say, Shrook runs circles around NNW. But you know what? NNW is still by far the better application. It's visually and functionally more ergonomic. I can read, open and mark my feeds as read with just five keys, whereas in Shrook I every now and then must reach for the mouse and the shortcuts for marking and opening a feed are a Command-Key combination.
Now, that may not sound like a big deal but in practice, it means a lot. For instance, I can read all of my feeds without letting go of my coffee cup, how about that for ergonomics. (Drinking my first coffee and reading my news is a holy period of my day ;-)
So, I've decided, to stick it out. Take your time, Brent, I'll be waiting ;-)

Re: Sticking it out
i really, really like the shrook interface because it's basically itunes for rss-feeds and i mostly use my mouse anyway, but i agree on the fact that personal ergonomics can be one big argument besides a sweet looking gui and a bunch of nice feature ;-)
