What is this?
Hi, my name is Tom Lazar and I'm a Plone and Zope developer based in Berlin, Germany and this is my personal and professional (no big difference, really...) website.

Remember? The WW stands for Worldwide...

Filed Under:

Who would have thunk it?

This will, of course depend largely on what browser you're using, but I think in Safari this page just looks strikingly beautiful.

I'm so used to our Western *cough* um... Roman/Arabic writing (I'm a big fan of typography!) that I often forget that there's many other scripts and alphabets. And then to see these 'ancient' looking glyphs in a modern day browser... I don't know quite how to express it, but it certainly lets my imagination soar ;-)

As further examples, take a look at this screenshot of a Tamil localization of the Linux Desktop XFCe or this persian blog.

Hey there. Thanks for the compliments... though, urm, I guess they were meant for the script not me. :)

What's a zope?

What's Zope?

@Alireza:

Wow, people really seem to look into their referer logs these days ;-)

And yes, I'm afraid I gave your site only merit on behalf of its looks. Until just now I haven't even read the english part of it. Now that I've read some of it, I'm happy to report, that neglecting its contents was doing injustice to it!

And for the Zope-question: Zope is a content management system that Jeff and I use. And apparently he's found my site by looking for other Zope products...

Kind regards,

tom
