Phew... I've got the feeling, that Plone is coming out of my ears! For the past week or so I've hardly been doing anything but working on plone-based sites. Starting with the still fledging Datenschleuder site (gotta put those other articles online!), I've since then been working heavily on the relaunch of the Website of the Klingendes Museum. Together with Jörg I'm implementing an existing PHP-based website using Plone. Some time tomorrow it will go online.

Then I've started a website for FuxData. It's still not finished quite, but enough for me to dare to post the link here ;-)

And finally, today I'v got around to rebuilding Albrecht's website: it launched with Plone 2.0.1 and some older versions of Zope, CMF, I18NLayer, kupu and SimpleBlog and somehow exhibited some very ugly errors. Actually, to my shame I must admit that that's pretty much the main reason, why Albrecht hasn't updated his blog regularily... often, when attempting to save an entry, the whole body text was lost! Then, when I wanted to access the portal_quickinstaller tool, I got 'insufficient privileges' errors - as admin!

So, today I created a new Zope and Plone instance and manually copied all the contents over and spent several hours of getting my rather strongly customized SimpleBlog1.1a instance to work under 1.2.1. In the end, I discarded some of the customizations for the sake of getting things to actually work, but now I'm quite happy - everything is running smoothly.

Well, if you've read this entry all the way through to here, Plone is probably coming out of your ears, too, by now ;-) Anyway, I'm gonna treat myself to a little bit of Feierabend ;-)
