Okay, so I actually wanted to start this entry with a remark that the fact, that yesterday (yes, I missed another day of blogging, shame on me...) was my 31st birthday was totally irrelevant. And yes, I still agree with Dave Barry, that "There comes a time when you should stop expecting other people to make a big deal about your birthday. That time is age eleven." But yesterday turned out to be quite important for me, after all. Its signficance didn't lie so much in me having birthday but rather in being reminded of what great family, friends and neighbours I've got. I only had a small get-together rather than a full-blown party but I had a wonderful time (seven hours, actually...) Thanks to everybody who came. I feel privileged to call myself your friend!
