So my new Powerbook arrived today, yippi! I really savour such moments: after all, they are a) rare enough and b) why should I pretend to be all cool about such stuff? I mean, I'm a geek and I'm proud ;-)

This time I've decided to make a fresh start and to not copy my Home folder from the old machine. Some of those Preferences had been hanging around ever since 4K78 times...

My first impressions are quite positive. After some initial worries, that I might find the screen too small, afterall, this has totally given way to appreciating its small footprint and weight. I was quite surprised, how well the speakers sounded, too. WiFi reception is much better than with the TiBook. Speed is acceptable (certainly doesn't feel like twice as fast as the old 500MHz one...)

Well, currently I'm busy copying files and setting up preferences - jeez! Housework isn't that bad, afterall... ;-)
