What is this?
Hi, my name is Tom Lazar and I'm a Plone and Zope developer based in Berlin, Germany and this is my personal and professional (no big difference, really...) website.

From the Off-for-the-Weekend-Department

Thursday afternoon I started to feel a bit unwell and left work early (i.e. on time). I then spent the next two days almost entirely in bed due to what I shall euphemistically refer to as a 'tummy bug' in this blog out of regard for my gentle readership (Quick! Do not think of the word 'bucket'!).

Thus being deprived of some of my favourite worldly stimuli (good food, good coffee, good beer) and not really fit for any sort of tinkering with the powerbook due to a throbbing headache I resorted to drinking copious amounts of tea, watching DVDs and re-reading Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency and its sequel The Long Dark Tea Time of the Soul.

Now, I know, that I really should have been doing my overdue book-keeping and taxwork this weekend instead, but somehow I feel, that the best alternative would just to put in such 'mini-vacations' voluntarily instead of waiting for my body to remind me to. The net result would be the same, but the process a whole lot more enjoyable ;-)

isn't bookkeeping something to be left for the steuerberaters? but wait a minute, you got to get your receipts and stuff ready for them to do the rest of the work... thanks for reminding, haven't done anything in that direction so far...
