Ooh, that went fast... Back since just one day and already the vacation seems far, far away. But I'm not complaining: it was great! Perfect wheather and plenty of peace and quiet. I spent the mornings reading and drinking coffee, the afternoons hiking or biking and the evenings reading and drinking beer ;-) oh, and yes, I did get a tan and (almost) bored.

Also, this was the first time since I've got my first portable computer (a Lombard powerbook 1999) that I've spent an entire six days without computer- or internet-access! I admit, the first two days felt weird - no RSS, no email, no IM... but then I completely forgot about it (what a relief! I actually was kind of worried that I might display some withdrawal symptoms...)

Not that I missed much, anyway. Can you say "Sommerloch"? Even Apple waited with their OSX 10.3.5 update until I got back. And OBSOC is still offline.

And now I've got some catching up to do ;-)
