Wooha! After a long odyssee we've finally got the contract to our new flat signed by the owner! And the best part: we can pick up the keys on Thursday, eventhough we only start paying rent beginning next month ;-)

We met at the apartment, of course and I was really excited to see it again: after all, it has been over two weeks, since we've seen it last, and then only for perhaps 15, 20 minutes... how well would the reality hold up with the memory? How big is it? How loud? (It's out on a major road, Schönhauser Allee...)

Well, to relief, the place really did hold up well... the windows are amazing (unless you open them of course...)

Anyway, come Thursday we'll start with lots of packing, measuring and (re-)arranging furniture (in our mind) before the big move will commence on the 29th. We've already asked many friends for their help and it looks like we'll be 15 people or more!

In the mean time, back to work...
