Recently, development of Zope and Plone has been quite active: both are in the release candidate stage of a major revision. Nary a day passes without either one of them receiving an update. Yesterday Zope 2.7 was bumped to rc2 and Plone the day before that to rc5.

This makes is almost futile trying to keep up with my install guide, because, of course, I don't just publish the latest download URL's but only publish versions what I've tested and installed myself. The current instructions cover Zope 2.7rc1 and Plone2rc3 - a combination that already runs very stable and without any noticeable bugs (sometimes I wish, commercial software would be as conservative with releases and rigorous with QA as these two packages!)

I will wait at least another week before updating my demo site or the instructions, the final releases can't be far off, anyway.
