I'm slowly making progress of reestablishing the lost site-data. Migrating doesn't work yet, so I have decided to export single folders from the backup zope / plone 1.0.5 instance and import them into the new plone 2.0rc instance (the one running here).

This works quite well, actually. Including pleasant surprises: after re-uploading the HTML-version of my FreeBSD-Cookbook I noticed, that plone2 now automatically incorporates HTML-files into its layout: previoius versions would just display the 'naked' HTML, now it's being served, as if it was a plone-document. Great stuff!

Next step will be bringing the layout back to its former look (on both sites). Since the layout techniques have changed quite a lot between plone1 and plone2 I'll expect this to still take a few days... At least now all of the tabs above have some content behind them...
