I'm still wowed. The past 24 hours have been demanding for all of us. (Most of all for Sam and Mascha, though, I guess...) But there have also been moments of good old-fashioned joy and even plain lazyness and fun. Like this afternoon when we set a new record for the number of family members cuddling in our bed and watching a DVD and eating cookies (although I must admit, that one of the people involved was rather inattentive in regard to the plot and I can't recall seeing him actually eating any cookies...) But hey! A family is all about teamwork and in the end, the movie was watched and all the cookies were finished, so there you go...

Now, before this blog turns from the nerdy ramblings on blogging, Macintosh, UNIX and systems administration into a meticulous account of nappy changes, the latest additions to Elmo's World and fascinating eating habits of two-year olds I've decided to use my all-of-a-sudden precious online-time to set up an extra family blog. Right now, everybody is sleeping again (way to go Sam!) and I'll see what I'll get done... (Thank God I haven't got any real work to do this close to the holidays... ;-)
