To begin todays entry, there is to note the first violation of my commitment to write one blog entry per day until March. But at least I had a very good reason ;-) And no, I'm not talking about yesterdays Great Berlin Bloggermeeting but about the Christmas Staff Party of Global Sunshine Entertainment, one of my main clients... (Photos of evidence have been made, I hope to procure them as soon as all relevant parties have sobered up enough ;-)

So, when I finally went to bed at 5 a.m. this morning I didn't know that just three hours later I would be woken up again abruptly. Mascha, my wife, nine months pregnant, was steadfastly trying to convey to me that she wasn't quite sure, whether our second child Sam wouldn't be coming early and that she would now leave for the doctor for a checkup and that it was now my responsiblity to perform the morning ritual of getting up and to kindergarden with our first son, Josh (2 yrs).

Well, I'm happy to report, that a) everything is fine with Mascha and Sam and that b) I managed to get Josh to the kindergarden in time ;-)

But since I had my first appointment with a client just half an hour later, I haven't been able to catch up with sleep today yet. So I've spent the entire day in some eery state of sleep deprivation. Everything seems kind of surreal today... Now that I've made it through the day and into my usual evening time, I feel somehow fit again. But for a few hours I knew how Will Dormer must have felt...
